Reaching Morning Light
It was painted plein air (in the open air) on a beautiful early morning,
the fall of 2022, at Kensington Park. I was standing on the bridge
coming over from the entrance of the park near the Restaurant and Farm
building. I parked there and hauled my gear to look over the bridge. As
you enter the park over the bridge, the view of the painting is to your
right. I worked on the painting on sight, until the light changed. With
photo's, I then finished the painting in my studio. It is painted in an
impressionistic style, colors next to colors, to make an vibrant
illumines impression.
